Meet your tutor James
Hello! I am an English tutor, storyteller, and the host of Learning English with James. While I am a native English speaker from Southern California, most of my time now is spent living in England.
Ever since I was a child, I was fascinated by the idea of people speaking different languages. I started learning Spanish in school when I was 12 years old, but the real learning didn’t start until years later when I worked with people who spoke Spanish, but little or no English. I helped my co-workers learn to speak English, and they helped me learn to speak Spanish. Now, I am a TEFL certified tutor and have certifications and experience teaching Business English. I am comfortable speaking Spanish and French. Since I love learning new languages, I’m now learning Italian!
I have fun meeting new people and I am excited about the opportunity to help you learn and practice English.
