  • You need a good internet connection with a camera, microphone and speaker. You can use a computer, tablet or smartphone.

  • You will meet James online using Google Meet video conferencing. You’ll find the link in the email confirming your booking. You do not need a Google Account to use the Google Meets app. To make sure your session can start smoothly, open the link beforehand to set up your audio and video preferences.

  • Our booking system is set to London GMT time zone. The times you see on our website are always adjusted to match your time zone. Google Meets will coordinate the time difference between you and James.

    Your scheduled lessons are shown in your local time. This is the time on your computer or smartphone. If you are having issues with times shown on your booking confirmation or reminder email, please contact us.

  • Yes. You can reschedule your lesson for free up to 12 hours before the scheduled time. After this time you will be charged the full cost of the lesson.

  • Yes. Life happens. Our cancellation policy has been written to ensure that you have a reasonable degree of flexibility, but we value James’s time and want to protect him against any last-minute change of plans. With this in mind, we have a 12-hour cancellation policy.

    You can cancel your lesson for free up to 12 hours before the scheduled time. After this time you will be charged the full cost of the lesson.

    Please always be on time for your online English lessons. James will wait a maximum of 15 minutes for you to join him after that he will go offline. As a result, you will be charged for this lesson.

    If James needs to cancel, we will email you 12 hours before your lesson.

  • Not possible! Only kidding. We have a 100% satisfaction guarantee policy. If James doesn’t show up or meet your expectations we will refund the cost of the lesson, and any future lessons you may have booked. Please contact us within forty-eight (48) hours of the end of the lesson.
